This map streams real-time vessel traffic from aisstream.io — free, no credit card. To switch it on:

1. Sign up at aisstream.io and create an API key.
2. On the boat PC put the key in ~/race-modeller/ais_key.txt
   e.g. echo "YOUR-KEY" > ~/race-modeller/ais_key.txt
3. Reload this page.

Terrestrial AIS covers the harbour & Cook Strait (~15–50 km from shore). Your fleet is auto-highlighted by MMSI.
